Cole comes from an operational and problem-solving background — the kind that values preparation, adaptability, and steady decision-making when things don’t go as planned.
That grounding presence is what makes this journey possible. Cole handles the logistics, the movement, and the realities of life on the road — but he also brings a deep curiosity and openness to every experience.
He’s the one asking, “How does this work?”
And just as often, “Why does this matter?”
Cole believes adventure doesn’t have to be reckless to be meaningful. For him, the reward is not just seeing the places, but making the memories.
Why We Do This Together
We didn’t start this journey to escape real life.
We started it to engage with it more deeply.
Like many couples, we built good careers and full schedules but still felt something was missing. Routines were easy, but being present took effort. Unique America is our way of choosing intentional experiences over autopilot, and curiosity over comfort.
At the heart of it all is a simple desire: to experience as much of God’s creation as possible, together. From quiet backroads to vast landscapes and small, meaningful moments, we believe there’s something sacred in slowing down enough to really see the world we’ve been given.
Traveling side by side has taught us how to communicate better, trust each other more, and notice the beauty and grace we might otherwise rush past. Our hope is that by sharing our journey, we encourage other couples to step out of routine, explore more intentionally, and make memories that strengthen their relationship along the way.
